Need to lose weight fast and you need some motivation. If you want to fast weight loss success, there are many ways to achieve this.

There are many ways to shed the pounds fast. But you have to want it bad enough to make the sacrifice needed.

66% of Americans go on a diet to lose weight and approximately only 5% will be successful and reach their goal.

There are numerous ways to lose weight fast and I’ll share some of these methods with you.

Different forms of fasting

First you can try water fasting. Water fasting is just that, water and nothing else for a certain length of time. If this is your first water fast, you should start with a one day fast.

You should prepare for a fast by cutting out all processed food, red meat, sugar and alcohol products for a week before you start your fast.

Also plan when you are going to do your fast. It should be when you are not stressed at work, have some time off, like a weekend or vacation time.

You might not have the stamina for a full schedule at work when you first do a fast.

I’ve heard of some people losing large amounts of weight this way. But let me warn you, check with your health care provider to get the o.k. The average weight loss is about a pound a day. If you are very overweight you might lose even faster in the beginning.

 

Most health care providers do not approve of such drastic measures. If you are really serious find a doctor who approves of fasting. Then have him give you a check-up before you begin.

 

If you are on certain prescription  medicines, have liver or kidney problems, are pregnant, or have any type of cancer, these conditions a fasting diet is not recommended in most cases.

If you get the go-ahead to water fast than you will find that the first few days are the hardest. You could get dizzy, light-headed, nauseous or feel weak or faint.

You can combat that with a cup of broth, which may help.

But some of the benefits of water fasting are:

  • gives your body a needed rest
  • helps to clear addictions
  • helps to heal ailments
  • improves mental alertness
  • removes toxins
  • hydrate your body
  • improve your complexion

Many medical conditions that can be improved by water fasting including:

  • high blood pressure
  • diabetes
  • acne
  • asthma
  • arthritis

There are no guarantees what will improvement you will have in your health, but being overweight is very bad for your health anyway, so any weight loss will help.

Definitely water fasting is the fastest way to lose weight.

Intermittent dieting

This is also a proven method of fast weight loss.

Different ways

There are many different ways to do intermittent fasting and you should start out slowly to begin.

The first method is where you don’t eat after 10:00 p.m. When you rise in the morning just have water or green tea. Then in the early afternoon  you eat 1 light meal and then 1 light meal at dinner time. Make sure your meals are not filled with carbs, fat or processed food. Eat mostly fresh veggies and light protein.

For faster weight loss eat only 1 meal in the early evening and then nothing until the next day in the early evening. You can expect to lose between 3 to 5 pounds a week if you have a lot of weight to lose.

Here is that dreaded word that we all dislike.

If you start walking or swimming you can expect to lose even more weight each week.

Don’t do strenuous exercise. Your body is under a large transformation with the fasting and being overweight you probably haven’t exercised anyway. So just take it slow.

Well, intermittent fasting is just that. You fast for a certain length of time and eat during a set period of time.

But they must be sensible calories, not highly processed foods that are full of preservatives that add a lot of empty calories and no nutritional value.
