My name is Deanna Martin and I am here to help you in your fasting weight loss journey.
My goal is to help teach you all about losing weight and getting healthy by fasting.
I have had to watch my weight since I was in high school. My mother loved to cook and bake and there was always cookies, cakes, pies, and comfort food around.
When I was getting married I lost about 30 pounds before the wedding and looked good for my wedding, but that was short-lived.
When I got pregnant for my first child, I put on about 50 pounds. That was when doctors weren’t concerned about pregnancy weight and would say you are eating for two so it was o.k.
It was a constant struggle for me, I would lose the weight after having a baby just to gain it back again with all three pregnancies. I had not learned I needed to change my eating habits and make a life style change, not another diet.
When I went through a divorce, due to the stress, I lost a huge amount of weight, becoming thinner than I have ever been in my adult life. But my eating habits were terrible, certainly not a balanced food plan. Not good. And once the stress was gone I started to gain weight again. Welcome to the vicious cycle.
I decided I wanted something better
This time I decided to get the weight off the right way and keep it off for good. I was tired of being overweight, trying to dieting and always thinking about food and when the next meal was. I can’t remember the number of times I joined Weight Watchers or some other diet program or trying to do it on my own.
I decided to study weight loss and nutrition to get the weight off sensibly and safely, instead of wanting to lose it fast.
Also I wanted to quit the yo-yo syndrome and adopt a healthy life style that can work for me for the rest of my life. So I went on the intermitted fasting diet to jump start my weight loss and it worked. It gave me the motivation to continue to lose all the weight I wanted to.
After a few days I did not feel hungry during the day and I had a portion controlled dinner at night. So far so good. I also found once I gave up sweets and carbs for a few days I didn’t crave them any more.
From the very basic how to’s to the benefits of the different types of fasting to speed up your weight loss, I am here to help you. Also, I will give you review of many of the different weight lose plans to help you decide what is best for you.
In addition, I will give you a variety of healthy tips and news over time and how exercise can also help you in your weight loss journey.
