To Juice Or Not To Juice?

Should you juice or not?

Many people have asked this question. Should I juice? I personally think it’s a matter of individual preference. If you decide to juice fast, you need to know why and  have a plan and decide which avenue is best for what you want to achieve.

To juice or not to juice is the question, is it for weight loss, more healthy lifestyle or just to get more fruit and vegetables into your diet? Are you wanting to do a toxic cleanse, which is highly effective for removing toxins from the body and clean out your digestive tract and give it a rest.

If you are extremely health conscious , juicing might be for you. The effects of juicing are quick weight loss, less problems with digestion,  less cravings  removing toxins from your body and overall a feeling of well being.diet-861173_640fruit

If you are doing juicing basically for weight loss, you will see a significant loss by totally juice fasting, plus that same  feeling of well being and more energy. After a few days most of your cravings and hunger pangs will be gone and you will have an increase in energy, sleep better, and a better outlook on life.

After the first few days your cravings and hunger will go away. You will feel more energetic and the bloat will be gone.

Juicing Correctly

There are many ways to juice. If you are juicing for weight loss only, total juicing will naturally give you the fastest weight loss.

I lost 10 pounds in one week by fasting for all my meals, which consisted of 5 to 6 juices a day. And it was hard to drink all 6 juices.

But make sure you have at least 4 8ounce glasses of juice a day. Also make sure to drink plenty of water. I have an 8 ounce glass of water after each juice and drink plenty of water during the day.

Also there is the juicing for one or  two meals a day,  and eating a light lunch or dinner consisting of mostly raw fruit and veggies.

Also there is juicing for a set amount of days, the 3 day, 5 day or 7 day plan.

No matter what plan you follow it will improve your health and well-being. Just make sure that all your juice recipes contain 80% vegetables and 20% fruit for best results.

If you use too much fruit you will get a high sugar content and that will slow down your weight loss and not be good for your blood sugar or your overall well being.

Cruciferous Vegetables

It’s important to include cruciferous vegetables in your juicing recipes. They will help you to lose weight and help prevent cancer and other diseases.the-market-place-821843_640

They include :

Cauliflower

Brussels Sprouts

Broccoli

Bok Choy

Collard Greens

Cabbage

Turnip

Arugula

Radishes

Adding some of these vegetables to your fruits will help control blood sugar, detoxification, improve metabolism and help reduce body fat.

These vegetables have been known to help with weight loss and also to help prevent cancers.

It takes will-power and determination to succeed, but it is well worth the battle and the benefits will by well worth it.

It is not just a one time event. You should consider juicing part of your regular life style.

Good luck and enjoy your improved health!
