Also, beware of alcoholic beverages, they also have a ton of calories, especially if you enjoy the fancy drinks. a couple of those could add up to almost a days worth of calories.

Do you like to drink your fruit every morning? Talk about hidden calorie. Not only are you not getting the fiber, but most packaged juices are filled with sugars.

Low carb diets have been all the rage in the last 20 or so years. Do they work? Yes, they do if you follow them correctly.

My husband lost 35 pounds doing Atkins Diet. It was easy for him on the old version of Atkins because back then it stressed eating mostly meat and vegetables. Which he loved. He could care less about bread or pasta.

Low carb diets are good if you are able to follow them to the letter. You can’t eat any of the wrong foods, even a taste because it will throw your ketosis levels off.
